In preparing for the Pentathlon, Plungis competed in many individual events at meets that did not feature the Pentathlon ... Competed in the 55 meter dash, 60 meter dash, long jump, high jump, shot put and 800 meters.

2007: OUTDOOR SEASON: Recorded a 103-08 throw in the javelin prelims at the outdoor MAC Championships ... Threw 110-06 to take fifth at the Ohio Open in May ... Top Bobcat mark at the Hillsdale Relays with a throw of 107-08 in the javelin ... Took 10th at the All-Ohio Championships with a score of 96-04 ... Threw 112-09 feet at the Wake Forest Open ... Placed fifth at the Southern Ohio Open with a 113-10 toss ... Took Eighth overall with a throw of 118-08 at the Sea Ray Relays in Knoxville, Tenn. ... INDOOR SEASON: Did not compete during the indoor season as javelin is not offered.

2006: OUTDOOR SEASON: Finished seventh at the MAC Championships in the javelin, posting the 14th-best mark in the MAC (120-06.00) ... Placed 15th in the 100-meter hurdles at the Miami Invitational, recording the second-best mark on the team (17.39) ... Took seventh in the shot put at the Southern Ohio Cup with a season-best 32-11.25 ... INDOOR SEASON: Recorded 2,819 points in the pentathlon at the Central Collegiate Championships ... Posted the team's fourth-best 200m (27.36) at the Akron Quad and fourth-best long jump (15-05.50) at the Ohio State Invitatioanl ... Took sixth in the 55m hurdles at the Ohio State and Scarlet & Gray Invitationals.

2005: OUTDOOR SEASON: Posted a personal-best mark of 142-01 in the javelin to place sixth in the MAC Championships ... Became a NCAA regional qualifier in the javelin with that performance ... Took 16th (134-7) in the regional ... INDOOR SEASON: Was one of Ohio's top competitors in several events, including the long jump and pentathlon ... Recorded a season-best mark of 15-07.75 in the long jump.

HIGH SCHOOL: High school state champion in the javelin her senior year with a personal best throw of 133'2" ... Two time western mass division II champion in the 200 meters.
